Full Price/Location Maintenance

This allows access to all group stock locations and pricing records from the nominated company. Pricing control for all group companies can be managed from within the nominated company.

Stock Location Structure

This option determines how the Location is selected for the item on Sales, Despatch, Sales Orders and Purchasing / Stock Receipting screens.

Single Branch

This option uses the stock locations (IVLOC) that have been established for an item. If there is only one stock location then that location is selected. If there are multiple stock locations established, a selection window is opened for you, to enable the selection of the required stock location.

Multi Branch

This option uses the stock location associated with the terminal that you logged onto Maxim, as the default location.

This option is used where there is a branch structure in place and terminals are located at each branch. The terminal logon determines the stock location.

Use Group Default Stock Location as Product Default?

Multi Branch Setting

Refer to the document Multiple Branch Company Structure for further information on the use of this setting.

Single Branch Setting

This is relevant where there are multiple stock locations for a product and the need is to default to the group default stock location for sales order / despatch processing.
