IVTRN records hold the current stock on hand values and are used for product inquiries.
IVPBA records hold inventory movements by month. These records are used for reporting and therefore allow inventory reports to be run based on a period end selection.
This integrity report checks that the current IVTRN record equals the sum of the IVPBA records. If there is a difference, a IVPBA record is adjusted. If the IVTRN Period option is selected, the accounting period of the latest IVTRN record is used to select the IVPBA record. If the Specify Period option is selected then a specific accounting period can be selected to update the IVPBA period.
