Pricing Setup And Selection
The Price Unit selection rules are used in sales, sales order and despatch screens.
Measurement Units
Sale prices are based on the product's Sales Unit from the IVPPR price table. Price records are created with the required unit sell prices. Multiple prices can be set up using differernt Sale Units.
Price Units
Sale prices are based on the product's Sale Unit from the IVLOC table.
At the time of sale, the sell price conversion occurs.
Check for Pricing Default Record when creating new products?
This option is recommended when using category / sub category combos and pricing default records with multiple stock locations.
Invokes logic to check for a pricing default record when changing category / sub category combos on the Product Master screen, and creates new price records with default discounts from the new category / sub category pricing default record. The Pricing screen is called so that the new pricing records can be verified and prices changed if required.
Invokes logic to check that there is a pricing default record for the Location when creating a new product for the category / sub category combo used. Product cannot be created if there is not a price default record.
