Price change records created by a direct change to a price, via the pricing screens, are identified as being From: PRPMB. These price changes cannot be deleted, and the Effective Date and New Price values cannot be changed from within this screen. These records are maintained via the pricing screens. So if you want to delete the record or change the Effective Date or New Price, select the pricing screen and either delete or amend the price record. This will update the price change record.
From: PRPMD indicates the price change record was created from the pricing default screen because the Retail Markup% was changed.
Price change records from other sources other than PRPMB can be changed or deleted from this screen. You can view the source of the price change record by selecting the View History button.
Other sources include:
APNIPO: Non Receipting POs
APRECPT: Receipt Inventory/Indents
IVSPC: Supplier Price Changes
Note that APNIPO and APRECPT price changes are an option. Refer to the Purchasing Options screen.
Fixed Price
If an item has the Fixed Price? option set this is noted on the screen and price change reports. You should delete the price change record if the price is not to change.
Price changes from sources other than PRPMB need to be committed for the price change to become effective.
The procedure to do this is:
1. | Use the Price Selection button to select price changes to an effective date and / or for a specific supplier. |
2. | Print Changes and verify that the price changes are OK. |
3. | Use the Commit Changes button to update prices, print labels and then delete the price change records. |
