Maxim enables multiple business structures to be created in one database and enables multiple databases to be created.
Corporate/Group
This is the name of the database. This database will reside on your computer under a directory named maxim/<Corporate/Group>name.
Business Code
This is the code given to a business structure that resides in the database of the corporate group selected. Selecting a business code gives you access to the data for that business.
To perform group to parent company financial reporting consolidations all business units need to reside in the same corporate group database.
The Transaction input period is controlled from the Change Accounting Period screen.
