Product Search Screen – Select First Screen

This is an option as to whether the PRSRCH:Product Search screen or the Product Code Search screen is the first screen displayed.

Ignore ROC?

All major reports are processed through a report queue, which you can control. A Report Acknowledgement screen is displayed when one of these reports is run. This screen enables you to go to the Report Queue Monitor and Print Queue Viewer screens. If you do not require this level of report control then Ignore ROC will allow this.

Call Print Viewer Directly After Report?

Send eDocuments Without Intervention?

Single copy eDocuments, such as purchase orders, can be processed through a View and Send Edocs queue. This gives users an opportunity to view the edocs prior to sending them out. If this intervention is not required, then tick this option.

Notify If Screen Already Open?

This will advise the User if the calling screen is already open. The User can Ignore the notification and continue to open another copy of an already open screen.

 

This function has been included in an effort to avoid Users getting into situations where there are multiple copies of the same screen open, which can cause locking problems and Users getting ‘lost’. Hopefully it will also allow Users to better use the F9 menu. The function is invoked for all transaction input screens that are called in non query mode, and some maintenance screens.
